Mental Health Support of Adolescents

For environmental and other reasons, there are adolescents who have not met or have lost fundamental developmental levels or skills.  It is the mission of Mental Health Support for youngsters between the ages of 13-18 to provide the services and support necessary to enable these individuals to achieve age appropriate autonomy and to build the skills necessary to eventually live independently.  It is the goal that these services will be provided in a community based, home situation.

Referrals for this service are made by outpatient mental health therapists, following an assessment.

Cost of this service can be covered by Medicaid, if the adolescent has a diagnosis of serious emotional disturbance.
