Youth & Family Services

Based on the belief that “children are better off being raised in their natural families than in surrogate families or institutions,” our Youth and Family Services Division provides treatment for children experiencing serious emotional disturbance, severe behavioral disorders, and substance use problems.  Services are provided in the least restrictive environment with the utmost priority of preventing out-of-home placement.  Treatment plans are designed to focus intervention on the family and community, build on family strengths, and enhance the capacities of families to meet or garner the resources to meet their own needs.
