Residential Services

The overriding goal of Residential Services is to provide an environment that can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual.

Specific goals for each individual are developed in a team meeting and documented in the individual’s service plan. With the individual’s permission, parents and family member are always encouraged to be an active part of the planning process.

Services Offered:

  • Congregate residential services in six group homes throughout Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Each group home provides 24 hours supervision, assistance, and training to residents. Homes consist of four or five residents with Mental Retardation and highly trained staff who support their needs.
  • Residential Services are billable to Medicaid Waiver.
  • Supervised Apartments, and Congregate Residential Services are available to adults 18 years and older.
  • In-Home Residential Support can be provided for children in their family’s home and to individuals living in their own homes or apartments. In-home support is available to people who live independently, but need assistance and training with certain aspects of daily living.
