Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Charterhouse Clubhouse

Day program with structured activities and opportunities for individuals in recovery.

By developing and nurturing skills and activities of daily living, we are able to strengthen an individual’s chances for success in the community.  Program participants provide peer support for each other – celebrating the good times and supporting one another during those difficult times.  Sample activities include preparing monthly newsletter at the Center, structured activities such as classes and special groups, and social time during the day.

Located in Kilmarnock, serving people from Essex, Gloucester, King & Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, Northumberland, Richmond, & Westmoreland Counties.

Open Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm.  Transportation is available.

Consumer Run Programs

Innovative support programs operated almost exclusively by individuals in recovery

These programs help individuals learn business and organizational skills, such as budgeting and personnel management, interpersonal skills, and crisis and conflict resolution strategies.

  • Drop in centers are located at the Gloucester and Warsaw counseling centers where individuals may socialize, obtain peer support, and find links to resources and information.  Hours of operation vary, up to eight hours a day, three days per week.
  • “Warm line” is a special “wellness check program” in which individuals make daily telephone calls from home or a center to check in with others, identify problems early, and ensure stability.

Call Gloucester (800-639-9668) or Warsaw (800-639-9882)
Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
