Services to families during the prenatal period and during the
child’s early years
Mission
To ensure that every child in the region is born healthy, grows in a safe and nurturing environment, enters school ready to learn, and
can develop into a healthy and productive adult
This successful home visiting program reaches out to families to help relieve some of the stress of having a new baby. Services are based on each family’s strengths and needs and include:
- Information and referral to community resources;
- In-home mentoring and training in problem solving skills;
- Case management services for high risk children from birth to six years old; and
- Activities to promote positive parent-child relationships and healthy childhood growth and development.
